OUR ETHOS
At Play Strong, we believe that kids work and learn best when engaged in activities that are fun, meaningful and functional.
Our focus is on participation, helping children to build the motor skills and confidence they need to be successful at home, school and sport.
A "strong body" is one that allows us to participate in the activities that matter to us. This looks different for every child and family. For some kids this may be sitting up with their family to share a meal, or keeping their balance on a bush walk. For others it might mean finishing a sporting season without injury, or playing independently with their favourite toy.
At Play Strong there is no goal too big or too small. With a little determination, a bit of hard work, and some creative problem solving, we can help you build the movement skills you need to experience success.

We believe it is important to be transparent, ethical and evidence based. We use a motor learning approach, focusing on task specific training, goal directed interventions, and embedding therapy into everyday life. A child's greatest resource is their family, and intervention is most effective when it is meaningful, engaging, and incorporated into daily activities. Progress is achieved through moments and memories spread throughout the day, not just in a therapy room.
